Hatchers Timber is owned and operated by Randy Hatcher with the help of his son Boone Hatcher. Both Randy and Boone are Florida Master Loggers. Based out of Middleburg Florida we buy timber throughout Northeast Florida.
About us
Randy Hatcher has been in the logging business all of his life and is a third generation logger. A lot has changed since the early days of his logging career when the market was primarily short pulpwood that was hand cut and stacked then loaded onto a truck by an A frame skidder. Randy built his first skidder out of an international truck with a winch and chokers on the back to pull wood. Randy has built his reputation on his ability to select loads of wood to ensure maximum return to the landowner.

What We Do
We buy timber throughout Northeast Florida and harvest it with our own logging operation. With Hatchers Timber you are dealing directly with the logger no middleman. This allows for better communication and an overall better experience for the landowner. We haul timber to all major mills to be sawn into lumber, chipped for fuel, or processed into pulp and paper. We use the best management practices (BMP's) when harvesting timber to ensure low impact on the land. Our woods are kept clean and debris such as limbs or pulpwood tops from the loader can be piled or scattered across the land depending on landowner preference. When working with developers we can ensure to have the wood cut and pulled as efficiently as possible so the land can be stumped and raked. Every load that leaves our ramp is recorded onto a load sheet and a copy is given to the Landowner at the end of every week. We don't just want to cut your timber once, we want you to think of us when it grows back and cut it again.
